Introduction
The Kenya Barista Association (KBA) was founded by Mr. Alfred Gitau Mwaura, also the Founder of Kenya Coffee School and Barista Mtaani, with the mission of uniting, empowering, and advancing all baristas and specialty coffee professionals in Kenya and beyond. Drawing from Kenya’s globally celebrated coffee heritage, KBA serves as the leading Private National and not for profit body representing baristas’ professional growth, recognition, and global competitiveness.
KBA is a hub of knowledge, skills, and community — ensuring that baristas are not only skilled coffee artisans but also ambassadors of Kenyan coffee excellence, innovation, and culture.
