DISCLAIMER — CERTIFICATION IS NOT A TRAINING LICENCE

Kenya Coffee School (KCS) Certification is evidence of completion, assessment, or competency in the relevant KCS programme. It is not, by itself, a licence, permit, accreditation, or authorization to operate as a trainer or training institution.

Possession of a Kenya Coffee School certificate does not automatically grant the holder the right to:

  • Operate as a professional trainer, instructor, assessor, or training provider;
  • Establish or operate a training institution or centre;
  • Represent themselves as an authorized Kenya Coffee School trainer;
  • Conduct KCS-certified or KCS-accredited training on behalf of Kenya Coffee School;
  • Issue, award, verify, or recertify Kenya Coffee School qualifications;
  • Certify or recertify other persons under the Kenya Coffee School certification system.

TRAINER AUTHORIZATION

Any person wishing to train, teach, assess, represent, or deliver programmes under the Kenya Coffee School brand or certification framework must obtain the separate authorization applicable to trainers, where required by KCS policies and applicable law.

A KCS student or graduate may use their qualification as evidence of their education and skills, subject to the terms and conditions of the certificate. Certification alone does not constitute trainer authorization.

NO AUTOMATIC RECERTIFICATION RIGHTS

A Kenya Coffee School certificate does not confer authority to independently recertify, renew, validate, endorse, or issue qualifications to another person.

All certification and recertification activities conducted under the KCS system remain subject to the applicable KCS policies, standards, authorization procedures, and applicable Kenyan laws and regulations.

Kenya Coffee School reserves the right to take appropriate action against any person who falsely represents a KCS qualification as a training licence or who conducts unauthorized training, certification, or recertification under the KCS name.
