7.1 Purpose

The Natural Value Traceability System (NVTS™) is designed as a digital-first certification framework. This chapter establishes the digital infrastructure required to ensure products can be traced, verified, authenticated, and monitored throughout their entire life cycle.

7.4 Digital Product Passport (DPP)

Every certified product or production lot should have a Digital Product Passport (DPP) that accompanies it throughout the supply chain.

The DPP serves as a secure digital record containing traceability, sustainability, and certification information.

7.5 QR Code Verification

Each certified product should carry an NVTS™ QR code.

  • Product journey
  • Digital certificate

7.6 Chain of Custody

The Chain of Custody documents every transfer of ownership or responsibility from production to consumption.
