Open Skills Education (OSE™)

Open Skills Education (OSE™) is a global skills equity framework

Open Skills Education (OSE ™)

Open Skills Education (OSE ™) is a global skills-access and education movement founded by Alfred Gitau Mwaura of Kenya.
OSE ™ exists to remove barriers to learning by making practical, industry-relevant skills freely accessible, affordable, and globally recognized — especially for youth, informal workers, and communities left behind by traditional education systems.

OSE ™ aligns its mission with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and actively supports global social-development frameworks such as the Second World Summit for Social Development (WSSD2) by delivering skills-based education that leads to real livelihoods, decent work, and economic inclusion.

Through partnerships with Kenya Coffee School, Barista Mtaani, and other industry platforms, OSE ™ turns training into:

  • Jobs
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Value addition
  • Community economic power
