The Kenya School of Civic Revolution was founded by Alfred Gitau Mwaura, a Kenyan social entrepreneur, educator, and institutional founder recognized for championing skills-based education (Open Skills Education), social innovation, and community empowerment initiatives in Kenya. He is also known as the Founder and Executive Secretary General of the Kenya Coffee School, Barista Mtaani and the founder of several community-centered educational initiatives.
